This discussion group is for women who have a relationship with the Mormon Community. This space is for all types of Mormons, including: Fringe, Active, Inactive, Jack, Molly, Post, Open, off the slippery slope, rod holding etc.
A bi-monthly creative art space in NYC, with discussion on female empowerment in LDS culture.
Each meeting will emphasize three components:
discussion of a predetermined topic
Think of it as secular Relief Society + culture discussion.

Goals & Guidelines:
The goal of this group is to build a place for expression, inquiry, and inclusion.
Respect, self-regulation and empathy are imperative. This is not a place for denigration or stump speeches.

A bit about the organizer:
Mj is a mixed media artist and mental health professional. She's passionate about women finding their power, creativity, and community healing. Themes in her work include psychological reflection, self-empowerment, incongruency, and creative health.
She has a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley and has facilitated multicultural creative workshops with adolescents and young adults in retreat and studio settings. Currently, Mj identifies as culturally Mormon and a good girl in recovery.
